NT Recycling Kft Visits Leading Battery Recycling Enterprises and Institutions in Guangdong Province

Foshan, November 25, 2024 — On November 25, a senior delegation from NT Recycling Kft, including Chairman Aleksandar Dzombic, General Manager Qiao Li, and Chief Engineer József Varga, conducted official visits to several key institutions and enterprises in Guangdong Province, China, as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation in the battery recycling sector.

The delegation visited the Guangdong Battery Recycling Professional Committee, Brunp Recycling, and LVXUN New Energy, engaging in constructive discussions around technological innovation, policy trends, and opportunities for collaboration in both the European and Chinese markets.

Brunp Recycling, established in 2005 and now a core subsidiary of CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd.), is a global leader in the battery recycling industry. The company has developed a fully integrated circular supply chain covering recycling, resource recovery, and materials production. Through its proprietary Directional Recycling Technology (DRT), Brunp has pioneered industrial-scale solutions for efficient battery material regeneration and set technical standards for the entire lifecycle management of power batteries. As one of China's national standard-setting entities, Brunp has become a benchmark for closed-loop battery recycling systems globally.

The NT Recycling team also visited LVXUN New Energy, an environmental enterprise specializing in the collection and transfer of hazardous waste across multiple cities including Shenzhen, Foshan, Jiangmen, and Zhongshan. With a highly responsive and well-established logistics system, LVXUN has built a strong reputation for providing timely, compliant, and efficient recycling services. The company plays a critical role in improving the ecological environment in the Greater Bay Area, particularly through its facility in Shenzhen, which contributes significantly to the safe and sustainable management of hazardous battery waste.

These visits marked a valuable step forward in NT Recycling’s strategic outreach to the Chinese market and its continued pursuit of advanced, environmentally responsible battery recycling technologies. The discussions laid the groundwork for potential future cooperation in areas such as technology sharing, logistics optimization, and joint R&D, further enhancing the company’s capabilities to serve the evolving needs of the global energy storage and electric mobility sectors.
